The Irish Giant Tom Crean

Tom Crean was one of the two men who walked over the top of South Georgia Island with Ernest Shackleton to find rescue at Stromness Harbour. This last obstacle came after an 800 mile crossing of the worlds roughest oceans in a small boat. Well worth the read.

2 slices Peeled Fresh Ginger
2 oz Irish Whisky (I prefer RedBreast)
Gingerale

Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Lemon Half Wheel

Muddle Ginger in a Rocks Glass. Add Ice and Irish Whisky. Stir. Top with Gingerale.
